Rev. Dr. Lawrence Michael Livingston, DMin.
Senior Pastor

– Serves as the Pastor and "chief operating officer” of the
Mother African Union Church.  

Primary Responsibilities include: Primary Preaching,
teaching and worship responsibilities; ordering the life of
the church; development and implementation of vision,
mission and objectives for carrying out the Lord’s work of
ministry in the Mother African Union Church.

Rev. Gloria Ross, Assistant Pastor
– Serves in the role of assistant to the senior pastor,
particularly when the senior pastor is not present.  

Primary responsibilities include: Leading the Missionary
Group, serving outreach in times of need, including but not
limited to thanksgiving baskets; leads the Anniversary
Committee; assists the Sr. Pastor with teaching and
preaching responsibilities.

Rev. Carol Smith, Elders Ministry Pastor
– Serves as the point person and pastor in ministering to
our seniors (we call them “Elders” because they are due
the honor and respect of that term). She meets with them
every Tuesday and works with them in the area of
Spiritual Formation and Study of the Word of God.

Rev. Ruben McElrath, Assistant Min.
– Serves as an assistant to the Pastor in a variety of
areas of ministry.

Primary Responsibilities include: the
Harambee Rites of
Passage
for Boys Ministry; some administrative tasks;
helps with Young Adult Ministry; assists the pastor with
preaching and teaching responsibilities.

Min. Marlene Stewart, Minister of Visitation
– Serves as an assistant to the pastor in assigned areas
of ministry.

Primary Responsibilities include: Visitation of the sick and
homebound; development and implementation of
“Restoration of Broken Vessels” Ministry—an evangelistic
ministry for women who are broken (listening, counseling,
imparting grace, invitation, etc.)

Min. Patricia Wallace, Health Minister
– Serves as an assistant to the pastor in assigned areas
of ministry.

Primary Responsibilities include:  Leading the church in
areas of health and wholeness; leads the health ministry
committee;  sets up health screenings, speaker forums,
and alerts the congregation in areas of preventive
medicine.

Min. Delores Lee,
Communications/Evangelism Minister
– Serves as an assistant to the senior pastor in assigned
areas of ministry.

Primary Responsibilities include: Developing
communications/evangelism tools to reach the five circles:
community, crowd, congregation, committed, and core,
including but not limited to emails, website, and works in
the teaching ministry.

Min. Mike Jones, Director Music & Media
Arts
– Serves as an assistant to the pastor in assigned areas
of ministry.

Primary Responsibilities include: working with the Music
and Media Arts departments to enhance worship. Also
works with youth ministry

Min. Delores McDougale: Ministry of Nurture
& Membership Care
- Serves as an assistant to the pastor in assigned areas
of ministry.

Primary responsibilities include: Providing nurture, care
and connection to persons new to our congregation,
watch care, or other means of transition in their
relationship with God and the church of Jesus Christ.  She
assist the pastor with the Prayer Ministry.
